At Creighton University, the safety of our employees is of the utmost importance. As part of our caring culture, it is our commitment to provide a safe and productive work environment. All employees are encouraged to familiarize themselves with campus emergency procedures, training that pertains to their position, as well as practice good safety habits.

All cases of accidental injury to the general public should be reported to the Risk Management Office

Safety in the Workplace

The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) requires training for certain employees at the time of hire and/or transfer and annually thereafter. For required training, please visit the Environmental Health & Safety website. 

University Closings

Worker's Compensation Insurance

Safety on the job is everyone's responsibility. All cases of accident or injury should be reported immediately to the employee's supervisor. The employee and the supervisor should complete an Incident Report within two days and forward it to the Risk Management Office
