Employees in need of a leave of absence for their own health condition or for a family member’s health condition can now initiate their leave request anytime through Creighton University’s online Benefit Solution Center.
Center representatives also are reachable by phone, at 866.903.8216, to initiate leave requests and answer questions regarding leave, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Central).
While the Benefit Solution Center is currently operational, employees will be required to use this streamlined process when requesting a leave of absence beginning March 1. See more details on the process below.
The Benefit Solution Center will be operated by ADP, in cooperation with Creighton Human Resources. ADP will log employee requests for leave and generate the necessary paperwork, which will then be mailed to the employee.
The benefits team in Human Resources will maintain a significant role in customer service and the administration of leave requests, including the accurate reporting of time related to leaves of absence to payroll. This process only affects employees in need of a leave of absence.
