Can I use the application on an iPhone, iPad, or other mobile device?

Applicants may apply for a position using a mobile device.

How do I move my candidates to the next steps?

Click on the candidate’s name under requisition tab – this will take you to the candidate record. Under more actions, choose change step/status and choose the next step and/or status, as appropriate.

Is there a preferred browser?

Yes, in order to have the best possible experience with the myHR product, we recommend using one of the following:

  • Google Chrome
  • Firefox 
  • Edge
  • Safari

We understand that some of you have other Creighton applications that rely on older browser versions so be sure to verify that you don’t have any dependencies that would prevent you from installing a more current version. The service desk can assist you with any browser installation.

What is Candidate Selection Workflow (CSW)? What does each step/status mean?

Candidate Selection Workflow (CSW) represents the process for managing applicants within a requisition. “Steps” represents the various steps in the hiring process. Status reflects the current status of each applicant within the steps.

Will I be timed out if I leave the system?

Yes, the application is set to log out users after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Will I be able to review both internal and external candidates that apply to my open positions?

As a hiring manager, you will have access to both internal and external candidates.

Will I have to create a new account as either candidate or hiring manager?

Yes, if you are an internal candidate you will need to create a new account using single sign on and create a new application. For hiring managers access will be assigned.
